Leslie Poirier - Instructor/Trainer

Leslie Poirier has been teaching children and adults for over 30 years. A graduate of UCONN animal science program, she owned and operated Ansala Farms, a breeding, training and teaching farm in Andover, CT for 18 years. She has spent the last 12 years managing the riding program at Kingsley Farm in Coventry, CT. She promotes happy, proficient riders in and out of the show ring. From nurturing a first time beginner, to coaching them to their first blue ribbon and championship she instills a sense of responsibility and passion for all aspects of riding and horse care. Her students have achieved championships and yearend awards at many levels. She brings her diverse equine background to her students.
