Marilyn Bennett - Instructor/Trainer

Marilyn began riding before she could walk and began taking formal riding lessons at the age of 5. Soon after Marilyn began training with Carla Sharp and rode with her throughout her junior career. After the purchase of her horse Abbey Road, she began showing in the mini medals and moved onto to the jumpers where she found her niche. Marilyn has shown her horse Abbey Road in the Child Adult jumpers for the past 8 years across New England including shows such as Capital Challenge, Marshall and Sterling Finals, and the Vermont Summer Festival.

Marilyn is a recent graduate of the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Animal Science. She rode on the UConn Equestrian Team and was the captain her senior year. Marilyn began teaching lessons while at the University of Connecticut and found another passion. She loves to pass her knowledge on to her students and further their riding ability.
